The calm before tomorrow’s PRIDE storm, last Sunday’s Almanac was a gorgeous cluster of returning Forefathers (Catherine, Mark & DOOOUG, JoeSallieHuwHuwNicki, Francisco), familial 1st timers (John) an utterly Chic 1st guest set from a beaming & gleaming Lucy, a swathe of grinning transient darksiders (‘Can you play something sexy so that handsome man at the bar does His Dance again?’ cue Francisco twerking every last millisecond out of Rihanna’s Work) Tom, Luke, Libby & all at the St. George as Always. Yes. Yes. bloody YES.

Our PRIDE EXCEPTIONAL GAIETY 2019 kicks off tomorrow at 3pm outside in the St. George’s garden with glitteringly Queer sets from MatthewAndy & Nicki before a recontour & a nape spritz moves everything inside, Andy’s Framed Gallery of Exceptional Gaiety, Chris’ Musical Gay History Extravaganza, a 2nd set from Andy culminating in a BATTLE between him & Chris ’til Close. Of. Gay.
