It looked like it was going to be a quiet one, Chris, Sallie, Rhys & I looking glumly out the window at a very dank Sunday. Few tracks into Chris’ blinding opening set, wallop, the room was Busting with almost too many lovely faces. Nicki our returning guest dj pulled easily her best set yet. Everything. Just. Clicked. Gorgeous to see Sallie, Steve, Karen, Huw, Wendy Nicki, Nessa, James & Craig, Emy & James, Phillip & Julie, Doug, Andy, James, the ever rowdy corner Emma, Simone, Andrew, Russell & his boys Tom & Joshua, 1st timers David & dancing Katy, our ever wonderful hosts Rhys & Lice & all at the Saint Georges.

2 future items for note.

After a sterling 3 month stint in the Kichen our vegan chef is off to pastures new. Replacements are queuing for audition as we speak but we are assured meat based Roasts will be back on the menu for our next Almanac on Bank holiday weekend, Sunday May 6th.

Secondly a date for your diaries, Pride Saturday August 4th we will be doing a 9 hour special, possibly starting in the garden, from 3pm through ‘til closing. It’s definetely gonna get silly & there will be twists, turns, guest slots & more than a few surprises. Get it in your diary now.
