Sunday Almanac January 2017 – a birthday party

Our 3rd Birthday Almanac. Well just How did 3 years & over 35 parties happen? That’s a Lot of dancing, records, playlists, guest djs, Loads of photos & Tuaca, a few tears & roast dinners always. Chris & I played an old school afternoon-2 hour sets each before Battle & despite it pissing miserable Cats & Canines outside it was brilliant to see Sallie, the newly affianced Wendy, Gabriel & Emma, Aruan & Matthew down for the afternoon, Tim, Robyn, Trisha, Huw, James, Nicki, sadly soon away to Brazil Vanessa, our ol’ mucker & Hanoverian Guv’ner Ben, his gorgeous wife Anna & their lovely mates Neil & Louise, a whole Swathe of new faces led by the charming Zackary & his dancing cohorts in the corner but if any prizes were to go for cavorters of the afternoon, Carole & John down from Yorkshire for the weekend showed us ‘children’ Just how it should be done, Bloody marvellous footwork you two. Massive thanks ever to Rich, Daisy, new Daisy & all at the Saint Georges. We’ll be back on February 26th with Nicki returning as guest DJ, what with it being her imminent birthday, but for now the songs played were…
